The Manufacturing of Blow Molded Carrying Cases

Blow molding is very similar to glassblowing. The manufacturing process of both includes a plastic resin that’s melted and formed into a hallow tube and placed in a mold and finally inflated using compressed air.

After combining two hollow blow mold parts to form a lid and base for a portable container, blow molded carrying cases were formed.

Our cases are made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE), found in plastics, is frequently used to make plastic bags, plastic bottles and food containers. When it softens, as a thermoplastic, it becomes pliable when heated. It becomes hard and rigid when cooled.

In the United States, polyethylene is made from natural gas. It contains no toxic materials including no BPA. There are no known hazards and it is fully recyclable.

In-Stock Blow Molded Carrying Cases

Stock cases are perfect when you need a simple rugged case. They are used in things like medical supplies and equipment transport. Their open interior design can be used in a combination with a foam interior or with a single walled thermoformed interior tray.

Stock cases are blow molded from recyclable high-density polyethylene because no other material has such impact strength, solvent and oil resistance or durability. These blow molded carrying cases will never rust and their color is molded in, so it won’t chip, peel or rub off.
